08-2008 : CS Canada to Develop the Application System Interface for a new Helicopter engine FADEC
CS Canada has recently won a new project to develop onboard software for Electronic Engine Control for a new helicopter engine.
For this contract CS Canada commits to a firm fixed price for the production of various standard software packages for the various product ranges : from detail specification phase using SCADE tool to software certification (DO178B level A). CS Canada is in charge of implementing new development methods for new generations of controller units using SCADE formal design and automatic code generation tool. On these projects, CS Canada is in charge together with its customer of SCADE qualification with Transport Canada. The projects are carried out in accordance with the DO178B and ISO9001 standards in line with the quality and method constraints linked to the level A certification. CS Canada will deliver a complete software package ready for certification that includes the required documentation (planning process documentation, specification, design, code, and unit, integration and system test results). CS Canada also had to establish a complete software development environment in its premises, which includes an integrated system test bench enabling the linking of three Electronic Engine Controllers. The CS team and the customer define the SCADE specification at the customer facilities.
